Dr. Doretha Walker is a military veteran. She received her PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University her Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) from Ball State University while on active duty in the US Army and her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama.
She is an independent scholar who engages in intellectual activism by conducting and designing research. She is a public speaker, and author of 369 Flights of Daily Devotions, Success by Association, Success by Acclamation, and The Traits that built African American Women Leaders in the Area of Governance in South Carolina.
