As the Director for the Office of Regulatory Affairs & Research Compliance Office, Leslie provides oversight and direction for a broad range of research compliance units – including IRB operations and Quality Improvement Program, animal research, lab and biosafety, and research misconduct. Leslie ensures ethical conduct and compliance with applicable federal regulations, state laws, and institutional policies governing human subject research. She is responsible for regularly evaluating the Harvard Longwood Campus (HLC) School's (Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health) Human Research Protection Program; ensuring AAHRPP accreditation remains in good standing; and overseeing the Quality Improvement Program (QIP), including its educational initiatives for the HLC research community. Leslie earned her Certification of IRB Professionals (CIP) designation in 2004. She received her BS in Neuroscience from Bates College and her Masters in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine.
