Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Kelsey Sharkey Miller (MPH, CPIA), currently works at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, a Department of Energy site operated by the University of California system, leading the Human and Animal Regulatory Committees (HARC) office which includes the IACUC, IRB, and RDRC committees. Kelsey has worked in research since 2014, from managing multiple mouse colonies for basic vaccine research to conducting clinical research utilizing investigational medical devices. Previous compliance experience includes the role of IACUC administrator for a research institute at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland. She also co-organizes a monthly virtual gathering of IRB professionals working in small HRPPs across the nation, and actively participates in the Bay Area IACUC Administrators group.
Kelsey graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in exercise science and the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health with an MPH focused on infectious disease and vaccinology.
