Janelle Maddox-Regis is the Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine IRB Reliance Program. She earned her Master in Health Science from Towson University and has worked for the JHM IRB in several capacities for 14 years. Mrs. Maddox-Regis is responsible for designing, managing and implementing reliance processes and relationships between the JHM's Human Research Protections Program and external IRBs and research collaborators, which covers Johns Hopkins' role in serving as both a Relying Institution and Single IRB. Mrs. Maddox-Regis serves as the primary liaison between JHM IRB, Principal Investigators (PIs), clinical study sites, individual study teams and external organizations and IRBs regarding IRB reliance issues.
