Sharon M. Moe, MD, is the Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Medicine, and the Co-Director for the Indiana Clinical Translational Sciences Institute. She is also Director of the Division of Nephrology and Stuart A. Kleit Distinguished Professor of Medicine for the Indiana University School of Medicine. She has been a faculty member at Indiana University since 1992, and in 2019 was named Distinguished Professor at IU. Dr. Moe is the principal investigator for several ongoing basic and clinical research studies in the field of Chronic Kidney Disease -Mineral Bone Disorder (CKD-MBD), Her past research administrative positions including Associate Dean for Research Support, Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine, Chair of the IUCAC, and member of the IRB. She is a Past President of the American Society of Nephrology.
