Dianna Reuter Esq., CIPP/US serves as the Reserach Privacy Manager at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her work involves designing and implementing procedures that protect the privacy of research participants and CHOP patients whose data is used in research. She also helps ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations as well as organizational policies pertaining to data-intensive research. Her areas of privacy interest include comparative (especially EU/US) privacy law, privacy by design, genomics, de-identification standards, and appropriate use of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to CHOP, Dianna co-founded and served as Executive Director of the Military Assistance Project (MAP), a legal services organization providing pro bono legal services to veterans and military personnel that served 12 states. While at MAP, she led a charity climb comprised of veterans and civilians on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dianna has earned a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School and BA in History from James Madison University, and is currently pursuing an LL.M in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity at the Drexel University Kline School of Law.
