Dr. Rhonda MacAllister, DVM is a Clinical Veterinarian at the Oregon National Primate Research Center (ONPRC), which is part of the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. She has been providing care for a variety of laboratory animal species since 2001. Her current position is working with nonhuman primates primarily with infectious projects in support of the Division of Pathobiology and Immunology. She helped start and currently leads the Resilience and Compassion in Research Committee at the ONPRC. Finding unique ways to support resilience in staff and improving behavioral components of infectious disease studies are two areas of particular interest for her.
