Emmelyn Kim, MA, MPH, MJ, CHRC (pronouns she/her) is the Vice President, Research Compliance & Privacy Officer at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, Northwell Health, which is a large health system based in the New York area (21 hospitals and 850+ ambulatory sites). She oversees the enterprise wide research compliance program including quality assurance, conflict of interest, privacy, regulatory affairs and global compliance (including export controls and international privacy and data protections) across the lab and clinical research spaces. Emmelyn has over 22 years of experience working in the research and regulatory compliance fields, and has an educational background in behavioral health research, public health and health law with a certification in healthcare research compliance. She is also an equity and inclusion advocate and mentor who helped to launch an organization wide Bridges Asian Business Employee Resource Group with other healthcare leaders.
