Sarah H. Kiskaddon, J.D., M.A.
Ms. Kiskaddon is an attorney specializing in the human research protection field. She is the Vice President of Global Development and Public Affairs for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs. She manages educational programs, including the AAHRPP annual conference, AAHRPP educational webinars and newsletters, and leads global development efforts on behalf of AAHRPP.
She received her legal training at the University of Pittsburgh and Yale Law School, and has worked in human research protections for over 20 years.
Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the office of Research Integrity at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, affiliated with Columbia University. Prior to that she served as Director of the Human Subject Protection Program, and Vice-Chair of the IRB at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, and at Yale University School of Medicine she served as the HRPP Director and Vice-Chair of the IRB. She has also been a site visitor for AAHRPP since 2009.
Ms. Kiskaddon has conducted and published research in the field of human research protections, and presented at numerous conferences primarily focusing on clinical research involving children. Prior to attending law school, she earned her M.A. in Medical Anthropology from San Francisco State University.
