NIH OLAW provides guidance and interpretation of the PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, supports educational programs, and monitors compliance with the PHS Policy by assured institutions and PHS funding components to ensure the humane care and use of animals in PHS-supported research, testing, and training. This session will provide an opportunity to hear from NIH OLAW staff on programmatic updates and to ask questions. This session will take place in Zoom meeting. The use of attendee video is encouraged for participation and interaction with your peers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Hear from NIH OLAW representatives about evolving initiatives, issues, and guidance
  • Participate in an open discussion about issues relevant to NIH OLAW stakeholders
